Galazio is a chromatic term that refers to the light shade of blue. The color of the sky without any clouds during the day or the color of the calm sea (especially in the shallows of sandy beaches) referred as Galazio. Galazio is equivalent to a wavelength between 490 to 520 nanometres, a wavelength between green and blue. The word Galazio is not present in most of world’s languages and sometimes doesn’t refer to the light blue in these countries but only like a shade of blue. An Italian word that’s really close to Galazio is the azzurro one while in English language can be meet as azure, celestial blue, light sky blue and sky blue. Galazio derives from the archaic Greek word Kalais (a turquoise precious stone). Haris Kate & Sobhan unfold their dreams under the wide open blue skies.
